Corby (Pernod Ricard) Acquires 90% Stake in Ace Beverage Group

Corby Spirit and Wine, the Canadian affiliate of Pernod Ricard, will acquire a 90% stake in Ace Beverage Group for an enterprise value of CAD 165 million, with call options to buy the remaining shares in 2025 and 2028. The deal gives Corby a stronger position in the fast-growing Canadian ready-to-drink (RTD) category and will leverage Corby's distribution network to scale ABG's Cottage Springs, Ace Hill and other brands across Canada.

Next Century Spirits Acquires XED Beverages

Next Century Spirits (NCS), a Raleigh-area spirits company, has acquired XED Beverages, the New York–based maker of better-for-you ready-to-drink (RTD) brands including SESH and HAPĒ Sake Spritz. The deal adds high-growth RTD brands to NCS's portfolio and aims to accelerate distribution and scale through NCS’s route-to-market, co-packing and white-label capabilities.

E. & J. Gallo Winery Acquires Bev

E. & J. Gallo Winery has acquired Bev, the woman-founded canned-wine and spritzer brand founded by Alix Peabody in Venice, California. The deal expands Gallo's portfolio into Bev's premium zero-sugar canned wines and aims to broaden the brand's consumer reach and distribution; terms were not disclosed and Peabody will remain involved with the brand.

Bhang Inc. Acquires Red Ace Organics

Meadow Acquires Naked Foods Limited

Naked Foods operates a BRC A* grade factory in Kent and the acquisition will allow Meadow to leverage synergies in manufacturing, NPD and sales to accelerate growth.

PAI Partners to Acquire Tropicana, Naked and Select Juice Brands from PepsiCo

PAI Partners has agreed to acquire Tropicana, Naked and other select North American juice brands from PepsiCo in a deal that will create a joint venture in which PAI is the majority shareholder and PepsiCo retains a 39% non-controlling interest. The transaction, expected to close in late 2021 or early 2022 for approximately $3.3 billion in combined pre-tax cash proceeds, transfers a juice business that generated about $3 billion in 2020 net revenue and preserves PepsiCo's exclusive U.S. chilled distribution rights for certain channels.
