Takkion Holdings Acquires Renew Energy, Inc.

Takkion Holdings LLC, a portfolio company backed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, has acquired Sioux Falls-based Renew Energy, Inc., a provider of operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the renewable energy market. The acquisition expands Takkion's capabilities in wind and solar logistics, supply chain, transportation management and O&M, and RENEW's management team and brand will remain intact as part of the combined platform.

EQT (via Otello BidCo AB) Acquires OX2 AB

EQT Infrastructure VI, through acquisition vehicle Otello BidCo AB, completed a recommended public offer to acquire 100% of OX2 AB at SEK 60 per share and now controls 98.81% of the company; OX2 has applied for delisting from Nasdaq Stockholm. EQT says it will support OX2's evolution from a pure developer to an integrated renewables developer and asset owner and provide additional investment to grow the company's pipeline across onshore/offshore wind, solar and storage.

EQT Infrastructure Acquires Cypress Creek Renewables

EQT Infrastructure V has agreed to acquire Cypress Creek Renewables, a vertically integrated U.S. solar and storage developer, owner and operator, from funds managed by HPS Investment Partners and Temasek. The deal will support Cypress Creek's growth plans — including investments in operations, digital and sustainability initiatives — and is expected to close subject to customary approvals in H2 2021.

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Acquires EQOS from Triton

Funds advised by Triton have signed an agreement to sell EQOS, a European specialty installation and service company focused on energy, telecoms and rail infrastructure, to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. Terms were not disclosed; under Triton EQOS reached ~EUR 459m revenue and ~1,700 employees, and Eiffage said the acquisition will help it enter and densify energy infrastructure markets in Germany and Austria.

Macquarie Asset Management Acquires ZITON from Permira Credit-backed Shareholders

Macquarie Asset Management, via Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 7, has agreed to acquire ZITON, a Denmark-founded specialist in offshore wind operations and maintenance, from funds advised by Permira Credit and other existing shareholders. The investment will support ZITON’s fleet expansion and ongoing O&M services for offshore wind farms across Europe, enhancing turbine uptime and capacity for the growing European offshore wind market.

EQT Infrastructure Acquires 60% Stake in Newly Created Company Holding Wind Tre's Network

EQT Infrastructure (EQT Infrastructure VI) agreed to acquire a 60% stake in a newly created company that will own and operate Wind Tre's mobile and fixed network in Italy, valuing the business at an enterprise value of EUR 3.4 billion. CK Hutchison (Wind Tre's current owner) will retain a 40% stake; EQT plans to invest in the network, expand services (including fixed wireless access, IoT and private networks) and pursue sustainability and growth opportunities.
