Marcus & Millichap Acquires Mission Capital

Marcus & Millichap, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mission Capital, a national real estate capital markets advisory firm, in a deal expected to close in the fourth quarter. The acquisition brings roughly 40 capital markets professionals and expands Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation's loan sale, debt and equity placement, and consulting capabilities.

Marcus & Millichap Inc. has acquired Eisendrath Finance Group Inc. and will integrate founder Brian Eisendrath into its Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) division as executive managing director focused on multifamily debt, equity and capital markets advisory. Eisendrath brings a long track record of agency and non-agency financing originations (more than $35 billion in closed financings since 2005), which Marcus & Millichap says will expand IPA’s capital markets capabilities and support its strategic alliance with M&T Realty Capital.

Janney Montgomery Scott Acquires TM Capital

Arlington Capital Partners Acquires MCR, LLC

Washington, DC-based private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire MCR, LLC, a McLean, Virginia-based provider of cost analysis, systems engineering and software development services for defense, intelligence and government customers. Arlington said it will partner with MCR's management (which invested alongside Arlington) to increase investments in core capabilities, pursue strategic acquisitions, and accelerate the company's growth.

KKR Acquires Merchants Mortgage Trust & Corporation

KKR has acquired Merchants Mortgage Trust & Corporation (MMTC), a Denver-area real estate lending platform that originates short-term residential bridge loans for individual investors. KKR's investment, made through its private credit funds as part of its Asset-Based Finance strategy, provides MMTC with long-term capital to expand origination, product offerings, geographic footprint and financing capabilities.
