PharmaCorp Rx Inc. (TSXV: PCRX) completed the purchase of a 100% interest in an independent pharmacy located in Western Canada for CAD 2,400,000, funded with cash on hand. The deal is the company's fourth completed pharmacy acquisition and is being executed in conjunction with its strategic alliance with PharmaChoice Canada to grow PharmaCorp's network of bannered community pharmacies.

CareRx Acquires Hogan Pharmacy Partners Ltd.

CareRx Corporation entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement to acquire Hogan Pharmacy Partners Ltd., a technology-enabled long-term care pharmacy serving about 725 residents in Ontario. The consideration includes C$2.2 million in CareRx common shares and a C$2.2 million vendor take-back note; CareRx expects the deal to close in May 2022 and to be immediately accretive to earnings while extending its technology and service capabilities for seniors' congregate care.

AmerisourceBergen Acquires PharmaLex from AUCTUS in €1.28bn Transaction

AmerisourceBergen Corporation acquired a majority stake in PharmaLex from funds advised by AUCTUS Capital Partners AG in a transaction that closed at year-end 2022 for approximately EUR 1.28 billion. PharmaLex, a Germany-headquartered provider of regulatory, clinical development and pharmacovigilance services to the life sciences industry, was grown under AUCTUS through a buy-and-build program of 38 add-ons and will expand AmerisourceBergen's global pharmaceutical solutions.

ProPharma Group Acquires Pharmica Consulting

Neighbourly Pharmacy Acquires Rubicon Pharmacies for $435M

Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc. agreed to acquire Rubicon Pharmacies for CAD $435 million, adding 100 retail pharmacy locations and more than 1,500 employees. The deal, which materially increases Neighbourly's pro‑forma revenues and EBITDA, will be partially financed via a CAD $130 million public subscription receipt offering and a CAD $120 million private placement by Persistence Capital Partners (Neighbourly's largest shareholder).

NovaQuest Private Equity Acquires CoreRx, Inc.

NovaQuest Private Equity acquired CoreRx, Inc., a Clearwater, Florida–based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO). Affiliates of Signet Healthcare Partners will retain a minority stake; Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group provided debt financing. NovaQuest said the investment will support continued growth and capability expansion of CoreRx's clinical and commercial CDMO services.
