Gemspring Capital Acquires TRG

An affiliate of Gemspring Capital Management has acquired TRG, a Cleveland-area provider of enterprise mobility lifecycle management and integrated cybersecurity solutions. TRG founder and CEO Sean Kennedy, the Kennedy family, and the existing management team retain a significant ownership stake; Gemspring said it will provide capital and operational resources to support continued growth and strategic acquisitions.

TRG Merges With Inversion6 to Add Dedicated Cybersecurity Division

TRG has merged capabilities with sister company Inversion6, making Inversion6 a dedicated cybersecurity division while retaining its brand and ability to serve external clients. The integration adds 24x7x365 SOC, fractional CISO services and other MSSP capabilities to TRG's endpoint management offering; TRG expects roughly 20% organic growth from existing customers and plans strategic hires overseas to globalize the offering.

TRM Acquires Sheffield Scientific

TRM, an Alexandria-based enterprise asset management and reliability consultancy, has acquired Sheffield Scientific, a Katy, Texas consulting firm focused on EAM (IBM Maximo, Hitachi Asset Suite) and OT cybersecurity for power generation. The deal strengthens TRM's power generation capabilities, adds Sheffield's Serket OT risk-management software and specialist personnel, and increases TRM's headcount to more than 180 employees.
