Macfarlane Group Acquires Polyformes Limited

Macfarlane Group PLC has acquired 100% of Polyformes Limited for up to £11.5 million in cash (including an earn-out of up to £4.8 million over two years). Polyformes, a Leighton Buzzard–based foam converter with about 60 employees, generated £9.3 million of revenue and approximately £1.5 million of EBITDA for year ended 31 December 2023; the deal is intended to expand Macfarlane's protective packaging capabilities and accelerate its buy-and-build strategy.

Ault Alliance Subsidiary Acquires 80% Stake in Eco Pack Technologies LTD

Ault Alliance, through its wholly owned subsidiary Eco Pack Technologies, Inc., has agreed to acquire an 80% majority stake in Eco Pack Technologies LTD, a Huddersfield-based developer of sustainable secondary packaging machinery for FMCG manufacturers. Ault Alliance said it intends to rapidly scale Eco Pack's low-carbon packaging technology across the U.S., the U.K., Europe and Asia; the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approval.

SC Pack Group Acquires Frapak Packaging

The SC Pack Group, backed by private equity investor MML Capital, has acquired Frapak Packaging — a longstanding partner and European supplier of glass and sustainable plastic packaging. The deal expands SC Pack’s European footprint and product portfolio, creating a combined group with ~€350m revenue and roughly 500 packaging professionals across more than 15 countries.

Mill Rock Packaging Partners, the specialty packaging platform backed by Mill Rock Capital, has acquired All Packaging Company, a paperboard folding carton manufacturer based in Aurora, Colorado. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Mill Rock Packaging's Western U.S. footprint and capabilities across design, printing and converting while All Packaging's president Kenneth Pepper and senior management retain ownership stakes and will continue to lead the business.

Field Packaging Solutions Acquires Bag Supply Company

Field Packaging Solutions, a self-funded private family office, has acquired Bag Supply Company, a Birmingham, Alabama-based manufacturer and distributor of FIBCs, multi-wall paper bags, woven polypropylene bags and other packaging products. The transaction closed on February 1, 2023 and is intended to expand Field's packaging capabilities and product footprint across North America while providing long-term stability and growth resources for Bag Supply.
