The deal expands U.S. Waterproofing's Midwest footprint and service capabilities; FS360 founder Joe Marth will remain overseeing operations as the combined platform pursues further growth and add-on acquisitions.

Ox founders Kevin Weber and Dannon Appleyard partnered in the transaction and will remain in leadership roles; the deal represents USS's first add-on acquisition to expand its geographic footprint in Alabama.

Groundworks Acquires AquaGuard Foundation Solutions

Virginia Beach-based Groundworks, a Cortec Group-backed foundation services platform, acquired Atlanta-headquartered AquaGuard Foundation Solutions on December 10, 2020. The add-on strengthens Groundworks' presence in the Southeast and expands its residential waterproofing and foundation repair capabilities; terms were not disclosed.
