ABL Diagnostics said it has been selected by the Évry Commercial Court to acquire the assets and business operations of TEXCELL. The deal involves the transfer of 29 employees and the continuation of TEXCELL’s operations at the Genopole site in Évry-Courcouronnes, strengthening ABL Diagnostics’ virology and biosafety capabilities for biopharmaceutical customers.

Century Therapeutics Acquires Clade Therapeutics; Raises $60M Private Placement Led by Bain Capital Life Sciences

Century Therapeutics agreed to acquire privately held Clade Therapeutics for approximately $35 million in upfront consideration (plus a potential $10 million milestone) to expand its iPSC-derived cell therapy pipeline and next-generation Allo-EvasionTM platform. Concurrently, Century completed a roughly $60 million private placement led by Bain Capital Life Sciences and several institutional investors to support expanded autoimmune development of its lead program CNTY-101 and extend cash runway into 2026.

Eli Lilly Acquires POINT Biopharma Global

Catalent Pharma Solutions has signed a definitive agreement to acquire MaSTherCell Global, a cell and gene therapy CDMO that Great Point Partners had invested in alongside Orgenesis and SFPI-FPIM. MaSTherCell, headquartered in Gosselies, Belgium with a U.S. facility in Houston, Texas, expands Catalent's cell and gene therapy development and manufacturing capabilities and adds significant European and U.S. capacity.
