Upper Crust Food Service has acquired College Fresh, Inc., combining two leading contract food service providers that serve fraternities, sororities and camps across the United States. The combined business will operate across 45 states and more than 100 college campuses, leveraging 2,000+ food service professionals; financial terms were not disclosed. Adam Guy will lead the combined company as CEO and Jack Dawson (former College Fresh President) has joined as President and shareholder.

JTM Foods Acquires Cookies-n-Milk (CnM)

JTM Foods, LLC (dba JJ’s Bakery) has acquired Cookies-n-Milk (CnM), a family‑owned producer of edible cookie dough bites, individually wrapped cookies and brownies, donut holes and ready‑to‑bake frozen cookie doughs. Cookies‑n‑Milk operates a production facility in McKinney, Texas, and JTM said the acquisition strengthens its sweet goods portfolio and will leverage JTM's operations and sales capabilities to expand the edible cookie dough category nationally.

Crispy Filled Inc. Raises Growth Capital as Management and New Investors Buy Out L2M Brands

Crispy Filled Inc. (formerly Rösti LLC) received an infusion of growth capital while Rösti’s management and an unnamed investor group bought out business partner L2M Brands for an undisclosed sum. The company reorganized under the Crispy Filled Inc. name and appointed Stephen Caldwell as CEO to accelerate product innovation and expand retail and foodservice distribution.

Murry's (Encore Consumer Capital) Acquires Bake Crafters

Murry's Inc., a portfolio company of Encore Consumer Capital, has acquired Bake Crafters Food Company, a McDonald, Tennessee-based manufacturer and distributor of baked goods that sells primarily into K-12 foodservice and other institutional channels. The transaction closed on April 1, 2022; Encore said the deal is a strategic add-on to expand Murry's capabilities and presence in the K‑12 and institutional foodservice market, and Murry's also hired Jeff Ahlers as CEO to support integration and growth.

GlacierPoint Enterprises Acquires Southern Ice Cream and Gourmet Foods

GlacierPoint Enterprises, a Mill Point Capital portfolio company, has acquired Southern Ice Cream and Gourmet Foods, a Charlotte-based full-service distributor of ice cream and related products across the Carolinas. The deal creates a newly formed GlacierPoint Carolinas division led by Bailey Jordan, expands GlacierPoint's DSD distribution footprint from South Carolina north to the U.S./Canadian border, and retains Southern's owners Kim and Chance DelCastillo in senior advisory roles.
