Atlas Technical Consultants Acquires Long Engineering

Atlas Intermediate Holdings LLC (operating as Atlas Technical Consultants) has signed an agreement to acquire Long Engineering, Inc., a civil and transportation engineering and surveying firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The add-on deal expands Atlas' service capabilities (including subsurface utility engineering and construction engineering/inspection) and strengthens its footprint and client relationships across the Southeast; Atlas expects to close the transaction prior to year-end as it pursues a planned business combination with Boxwood Merger Corp.

GI Partners Acquires GTY Technology Holdings

GI Partners (via an affiliate) completed its acquisition of GTY Technology Holdings Inc. for $6.30 per share in cash. The deal, announced April 29, 2022, was approved by GTY shareholders in late June 2022 and resulted in GTY becoming privately held with its public listing removed.

Atlas Technical Consultants Acquires Alta Vista Solutions

Atlas Technical Consultants, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATCX) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Alta Vista Solutions, Inc., a transportation-focused provider of construction engineering, materials testing and inspection services headquartered in Oakland, California. Alta Vista operates approximately 100 employees across four offices in California and one office in New York City; the transaction, with terms undisclosed, was expected to close in the third quarter of 2020. The deal expands Atlas' ability to self-perform testing and inspection work and strengthens its presence in California and New York transportation markets.

Atlas Technical Consultants Acquires TranSmart Technologies, Inc.

The deal, facilitated by sell-side advisor Woodbridge International, will expand Atlas’s ITS, traffic and transportation engineering capabilities and extend TranSmart’s services into larger projects and new U.S. markets.

Atlas Merchant Capital-Led Group Acquires ~25% Stake in Ascensus

A group of new investors led by Atlas Merchant Capital LLC, including GIC, will acquire just under 25% of Ascensus from existing owners Genstar Capital and Aquiline Capital Partners. The minority investment is a growth-capital/secondary transaction to support Ascensus' continued growth and provide liquidity to existing sponsors; terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close in Q1 2019.
