Flexential, a US data center and digital infrastructure provider, has received a strategic common-equity investment from Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP), which will partner as a co-control investor alongside existing investor GI Partners to provide primary capital to accelerate expansion. The capital will fund growth of Flexential's FlexAnywhere platform, active development of its national data center footprint, and support demand from enterprise, cloud and AI workloads. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2024 subject to regulatory approvals.

Inflexion Partnership Capital Invests £434m in GlobalData's Healthcare Business

Inflexion's Partnership Capital has agreed to make a £434 million minority equity investment to carve out GlobalData Plc's Healthcare division as a standalone business in a deal valuing the unit at £1.1 billion. GlobalData will retain majority ownership while partnering with Inflexion to accelerate organic growth, product and content investment, cross-selling, and selective M&A.

ACS Group and Global Infrastructure Partners (BlackRock) Create €2 Billion Data Center Venture

ACS Group and Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), an affiliate of BlackRock, announced a 50-50 joint venture to build and operate next-generation data centers with an initial 1.7 GW capacity. The venture will include ACS’s existing €2.0 billion (100% basis) development portfolio across Europe, the United States, and Australia and is expected to expand for hyperscalers, AI companies, and enterprise customers; the agreement is subject to regulatory approvals.

GI Partners Acquires Controlling Interest in LightEdge
