GoodRx, Inc. (NASDAQ: GDRX) announced the acquisition of HealthiNation on April 19, 2021 to expand its health content and Manufacturer Solutions offering. The purchase brings HealthiNation's library of premium health videos and editorial expertise into GoodRx to provide new ways for pharmaceutical manufacturers to reach targeted audiences and for consumers to access vetted health information.

Change Healthcare Acquires eRx Network

Change Healthcare has exercised its option and acquired 100% of eRx Network for $212.9 million plus cash, with eRx generating approximately $67 million of revenue for the twelve months ended February 29, 2020. The acquisition expands Change Healthcare's pharmacy-focused technology and data capabilities, enabling tighter integration of pharmacy interactions with claims, billing and payment data to drive improved outcomes and new product opportunities.

CareRx Acquires Hogan Pharmacy Partners Ltd.

CareRx Corporation entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement to acquire Hogan Pharmacy Partners Ltd., a technology-enabled long-term care pharmacy serving about 725 residents in Ontario. The consideration includes C$2.2 million in CareRx common shares and a C$2.2 million vendor take-back note; CareRx expects the deal to close in May 2022 and to be immediately accretive to earnings while extending its technology and service capabilities for seniors' congregate care.

StateServ Acquires Delta Care Rx

StateServ has acquired Delta Care Rx to create an integrated care‑at‑home data, technology, and services platform combining DME benefit management with hospice-focused pharmacy services. The deal brings Delta Care’s pharmacy benefit management, mail‑order, compounding and clinical pharmacist consulting capabilities into StateServ to improve quality of care and operational efficiencies for hospice and post‑acute providers; terms were not disclosed.

OptimizeRx Acquires Medicx Health for $95 million

OptimizeRx Corp. (Nasdaq: OPRX) has signed an agreement to acquire Scottsdale-based Medicx Health (Healthy Offers, Inc.) for $95 million, with certain Medicx managers rolling about $10.5 million into OptimizeRx stock. The acquisition will expand OptimizeRx's omnichannel reach by adding Medicx's patient-focused Micro-Neighborhood Targeting platform and analytics, and is expected to be immediately accretive and to increase consolidated revenue run-rate toward $100 million.

The Vistria Group Acquires BioCare, Inc.

The Vistria Group has acquired BioCare, Inc., a Tempe-based specialty pharmaceutical distributor, specialty pharmacy and pharmaceutical logistics provider. The deal is Vistria’s first investment from its $2.68 billion Fund IV and aims to support BioCare’s growth — both organically and via acquisitions — to expand access to therapies for rare and orphan diseases.
