AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Global Transport Solutions Group

AIT Worldwide Logistics has acquired Global Transport Solutions Group (GTS), a Netherlands-headquartered specialist in time-critical marine spare parts logistics. The deal brings GTS’ more than 600 teammates across 16 locations and nine consolidation hubs into AIT’s global network, adding marine spare-parts capabilities, warehouse capacity and new geographic presence in Greece, Japan and the Nordics; terms were not disclosed.

The Jordan Company has agreed to recapitalize AIT Worldwide Logistics in a transaction valued at over $1.2 billion, acquiring Quad‑C Management's stake while AIT management remains significant shareholders. AIT, a Chicago‑based non‑asset‑based global freight forwarder offering air, ocean, ground and customs services, will continue to be led by President and CEO Vaughn Moore and his senior team.

AIT Worldwide Logistics has agreed to acquire New York–based Select Express & Logistics, a national final-mile 3PL specializing in white-glove delivery and assembly of big and bulky goods. The deal, which is an add-on to AIT (a portfolio company of The Jordan Company), expands AIT's end-to-end import-to-door capabilities and final-mile assembly capacity; LongueVue Capital exits Select as part of the transaction.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Krupp Trucking LLC

AIT Worldwide Logistics completed the acquisition of St. Louis–based Krupp Trucking LLC effective Jan. 1, 2025, transferring Krupp’s assets, a 115,000 sq. ft. Earth City warehouse, a fleet of 60+ trucks and nearly 100 teammates into the AIT network. The deal enhances AIT’s capabilities in high-value technology logistics and white‑glove services; founder Scott Krupp will remain as City Director. Terms were not disclosed.

Greenbriar Equity Group Acquires eShipping

The private transaction will back eShipping’s expansion of its managed transportation platform and continued investment in its cloud-based technology and product capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

OIA Global Acquires BTi Logistics and Airmark Ocean & Air Logistics

OIA Global has acquired Australian freight forwarders BTi Logistics and Airmark Ocean & Air Logistics to establish and strengthen its Oceania footprint across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. The purchases expand OIA’s capabilities in freight forwarding, 3PL/warehousing and specialized air/ocean logistics across automotive, healthcare, energy and industrial end markets.
