GTCR Acquires Global Claims Services

Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR has closed its acquisition of Global Claims Services (GCS), a Jacksonville, Florida–headquartered InsurTech that provides mobile-first building component evaluation and claims decision-support tools to P&C carriers. GTCR will partner with GCS management and commit incremental equity to support organic growth and M&A activity as it scales GCS’s technology-enabled, data-driven solutions.

GTCR Acquires FMG Suite from Aurora Capital Partners

GTCR has closed its previously announced acquisition of FMG Suite (FMG), an advisor-led marketing automation software platform for financial advisors and insurance professionals. The deal transfers ownership from Aurora Capital Partners and marks a new growth phase for FMG under GTCR’s “Leaders Strategy” approach, including plans to develop AI-enabled products and expand enterprise relationships.

BRP Group Acquires Jacobson, Goldfarb & Scott (JGS)

BRP Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRP) has entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Jacobson, Goldfarb & Scott, Inc. (JGS), a Holmdel, New Jersey-based specialty insurance broker and MGA. The transaction adds approximately $43.3 million of revenue and ~130 colleagues to BRP Group and expands its specialty and middle-market commercial insurance capabilities, particularly in habitational real estate, construction and manufacturing & distribution.
