H.I.G. Europe Acquires KPMG UK Restructuring (Rebranded as Interpath Advisory)

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital (H.I.G. Europe) has agreed to acquire KPMG's UK Restructuring business, a carve-out that will be rebranded as Interpath Advisory. The business, which comprises roughly 22 partners and 528 staff across the UK, will operate as an independent restructuring and turnaround advisory platform supported by H.I.G.'s investment to drive growth in the UK and internationally.

The carve-out will create a newly formed independent audit and advisory firm with over 280 professionals across 20 offices in Norway, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
