Hydraulic Technologies (Wynnchurch Portfolio) Makes Growth Investment in Hydra-Slide

Hydraulic Technologies, a Rockford, Illinois-based manufacturer of high-pressure hydraulic tools and a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, has made a growth investment in Hydra-Slide, a Guelph, Ontario-based maker of skidding and hydraulic heavy-lift systems. The transaction is intended to expand Hydraulic Technologies' engineered heavy-lift and skidding product offerings and support Hydra-Slide's next phase of growth.

Fox Innovation & Technologies Acquires Cotter Holdings Group

Fox Innovation & Technologies (a PE-backed platform backed by Bluewater) has acquired Cotter Holdings Group, including S.T. Cotter Turbine Services, Axis Mechanical Group and Axis Industrial Repair, to add field project execution capabilities to its turbomachinery platform. The deal brings the combined Fox platform to over $100 million in proforma LTM revenue and adds ~500 peak-capacity field personnel to expand service coverage across the United States; terms were not disclosed.

Wynnchurch Capital Acquires Hydraulic Technologies from SPX FLOW

HT, headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, designs, engineers and manufactures high-pressure hydraulic tools used across infrastructure, manufacturing and rail markets; Wynnchurch said it will invest to accelerate HT’s growth and build on its service and product offering.

Fortress Investment Group Acquires TH Holdings (Texas Hydraulics, Hydromotion, Oilgear)

Funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group have acquired a majority equity stake in TH Holdings, the parent of Texas Hydraulics, Hydromotion, and Oilgear; TH Holdings' management retains a minority stake. Wynnchurch Capital exited the investment; Fortress said it will deploy additional capital to invest in operations, product innovation and expand the group's presence across mobile, industrial and energy end markets.

Symbotic Acquires Fox Robotics

Symbotic, a public warehouse automation provider, acquired Fox Robotics, an autonomous lift truck company used for tasks like loading and unloading trailers. Symbotic said during its Q1 earnings call that the deal closed during Q1, adding autonomous forklift solutions and expanding Symbotic’s potential customer base.
