Independent Bank Corp. (parent of Rockland Trust) and Enterprise Bancorp, Inc. have signed a definitive merger agreement for Rockland Trust to acquire Enterprise Bank. The deal received all required regulatory approvals and was expected to close on July 1, 2025, with Enterprise merging into Independent and Enterprise Bank merging into Rockland Trust (surviving entities).
