Infineon to Acquire Marvell’s Automotive Ethernet Business for $2.5 Billion

Infineon Technologies has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Marvell Technology’s Automotive Ethernet business in an all-cash transaction valued at $2.5 billion. The deal combines Infineon’s automotive microcontroller portfolio with Marvell’s Brightlane Automotive Ethernet PHY transceivers, switches, and bridges to strengthen system capabilities for software-defined vehicles.
