Ingersoll Rand entered into an agreement to acquire Maximus, a provider of digital controls and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) production management systems for the agritech market, for CAD$135.4 million in an all-cash deal. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 following required regulatory approvals, with Maximus to join Ingersoll Rand’s Precision and Science Technologies (PST) segment.
