Houston-based HR platform GoCo has acquired Toronto-based employee experience startup WFHomie for an undisclosed amount. WFHomie's assets and three of its six staff joined GoCo as the companies integrate WFHomie's employee engagement and analytics capabilities into GoCo's HR, benefits, and payroll platform.

UKG Agrees to Acquire Inova Payroll

UKG has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Inova Payroll, a U.S. human capital management (HCM) and payroll services provider focused on small and mid-sized businesses. The deal is expected to strengthen UKG’s ability to deliver outsourced HR support and benefits brokerage directly to the SMB market, with closing targeted for early 2026.

Wagepoint Acquires KinHR

Calgary-based payroll fintech Wagepoint has acquired KinHR (to be rebranded People by Wagepoint) to add HR and people-management capabilities to its small-business payroll and time stack. The deal brings KinHR's ~4,500 users into Wagepoint's platform (which serves more than 20,000 small businesses) to create an integrated payroll, time & HR offering for SMB customers.

CBIZ Acquires BeyondPay, Inc.

CBIZ, Inc. acquired substantially all the assets of BeyondPay, Inc., a Clinton, New Jersey-based full-service human capital management and payroll provider, effective December 1, 2020. The acquisition adds ~40 employees and ~$4.6 million in annual revenue to CBIZ's HR and payroll capabilities to accelerate growth in its Centrally HR practice.

Cognizant Acquires Collaborative Solutions

Cognizant has entered into an agreement to acquire Collaborative Solutions, a global Workday-focused finance and HR transformation consultancy headquartered in Reston, Virginia. The acquisition expands Cognizant's cloud offerings and adds deep Workday advisory, implementation and managed-services capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close in Q2 2020.

OneDigital Acquires Cognos HR

OneDigital has acquired Cognos HR, a PEO and human resources consulting firm headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. The acquisition brings 16 Cognos HR team members into OneDigital, expands OneDigital's PEO capabilities and presence in the Chicago market, and gives access to Cognos HR's roster of more than 150 SMB clients.
