Crane NXT, Co. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire OpSec Security from Investcorp Technology Partners for $270 million in cash (subject to customary adjustments). The acquisition — which excludes Zacco, retained by Investcorp — expands Crane NXT's physical and digital authentication and brand-protection capabilities; OpSec expects roughly $130 million in revenue for fiscal 2024.

Investcorp signed a definitive agreement to invest approximately $100 million to acquire a majority stake in SEC Newgate, valuing the Italy-headquartered strategic communications and advocacy group in excess of $250 million. The deal (subject to customary closing conditions) will support SEC Newgate's growth strategy — including geographic expansion across EMEA and APAC and growth via M&A — while existing shareholders roll over roughly 100% of their equity.

Orange Acquires SecureLink from Investcorp for €515M

Orange has acquired SecureLink Group, a pan-European cybersecurity infrastructure and managed services provider, from Investcorp for an enterprise value of €515 million. Investcorp originally acquired SecureLink in 2015 and grew it via a buy-and-build strategy across Europe and China; Orange says the acquisition reinforces its cybersecurity operations in Europe and expands its managed security capabilities.
