The investment will expand ITE’s intermodal chassis portfolio and provide Trend with operational and capital support while founder and CEO Ayman Awad and the existing management team remain in place.

CAI International and Beacon Intermodal Leasing to Merge into Global Container Leasing Platform

Mitsubishi HC Capital approved the merger of its group companies CAI International and Beacon Intermodal Leasing, with the combined company headquartered in San Francisco and planned to be effective January 1, 2023. The deal combines CAI’s and Beacon’s container leasing capabilities to expand customer and business-partner relationships.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Global Transport Solutions Group
