Fabcon Precast, a Solace Capital Partners-backed precast manufacturer, has acquired the precast division of The Bristol Group (Bristol Precast), adding a production facility in Charlestown, Indiana and offices in Lexington, Kentucky. The acquisition expands Fabcon's geographic footprint into the Mid‑South (Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Missouri and West Virginia) and broadens its engineered/prestressed precast product offering.

Fabcon Precast Acquires Oldcastle Infrastructure's Building Services Division

Minneapolis-based Fabcon Precast has acquired the assets of the Building Services Division (BSD) from Oldcastle Infrastructure, including the Selkirk, New York manufacturing facility and associated precast product lines. The acquisition adds hollowcore planks, columns, beams and wall panels to Fabcon’s portfolio, expanding its production capacity and strengthening its position in the Northeastern U.S. market.

Forterra Acquires Barbour Concrete Company

Forterra, Inc. (Nasdaq: FRTA) acquired the business of Barbour Concrete Company and Barbour Building Systems, a 75-year-old manufacturer of precast concrete products based in Independence, Missouri. Forterra said it will continue operating under the Barbour name and expects the acquisition to expand its precast footprint and growth opportunities in the Kansas City and Greater Omaha infrastructure and residential markets.

Metromont Acquires Heldenfels Enterprises, Inc.

Metromont, a Greenville-based precast concrete manufacturer, has acquired Heldenfels Enterprises, Inc., a San Marcos, Texas precast and prestressed concrete producer, from founder Fred Heldenfels IV and other shareholders. The acquisition will expand Metromont’s precast capabilities and presence in the Texas market while Heldenfels will operate as a Metromont company under existing leadership.

Alcrete Industries Acquires Cape Fear Precast

Alcrete Industries, a Pell City, Alabama-based precast concrete manufacturer, has acquired Cape Fear Precast, a Jacksonville, North Carolina NPCA-certified precast concrete plant. Midwest Mezzanine provided subordinated debt financing to support Alcrete's acquisition, which expands Alcrete's production footprint and product portfolio in the Southeastern U.S.

Jensen Precast Acquires ProGlass Incorporated

Jensen Precast, a family-owned manufacturer of precast infrastructure products, has acquired ProGlass Incorporated, a Shelton, Washington-based maker of fiberglass utility products. The deal expands Jensen Precast’s electric-utility product portfolio—allowing it to offer fiberglass covers, transformer pads and other composite products alongside its precast concrete solutions to utilities and municipalities.
