Cornerstone Advisors, a management and technology consultancy for banks, credit unions and fintechs, has acquired BankSmart, a boutique consulting firm specializing in bank operations, vendor selection, project management and payments. Cornerstone said it will integrate BankSmart’s team and its "SmartKits" operational tools into Cornerstone’s product suite to expand services and deliver new products to community-focused financial institutions nationwide.
