Grain Craft Acquires Central Milling

Grain Craft has closed an acquisition partnership to acquire Utah-based Central Milling, including three flour mills in Logan, Richmond and Collinston, Utah, the Central Milling corporate office and associated trademarks. Central Milling — a longtime organic and artisan flour miller employing over 90 people — will continue to operate under its existing leadership while Grain Craft provides resources to expand reach and capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Columbia Grain / Enrich Foods Acquires Great River Milling

Columbia Grain International has launched consumer foods subsidiary Enrich Foods, LLC and completed its first acquisition by purchasing Great River Milling in Fountain City, Wisconsin. The acquisition adds organic and specialty flour, grains and co-manufacturing/private-label capacity — supporting Columbia Grain's expansion into retail and e-commerce consumer packaged foods under the Enrich Foods/Balanced Bushel portfolio.

GlacierPoint Enterprises Acquires Southern Ice Cream and Gourmet Foods

GlacierPoint Enterprises, a Mill Point Capital portfolio company, has acquired Southern Ice Cream and Gourmet Foods, a Charlotte-based full-service distributor of ice cream and related products across the Carolinas. The deal creates a newly formed GlacierPoint Carolinas division led by Bailey Jordan, expands GlacierPoint's DSD distribution footprint from South Carolina north to the U.S./Canadian border, and retains Southern's owners Kim and Chance DelCastillo in senior advisory roles.

Southeastern Mills Acquires JMH Premium

Southeastern Mills, Inc., a fourth-generation family-owned food ingredients company based in Rome, Georgia, has acquired JMH Premium, a Salt Lake City-based developer and manufacturer of flavor bases, gravies, marinades, dressings and other food ingredients. The acquisition expands Southeastern Mills' B2B food ingredients capabilities and adds custom flavor development and manufacturing capacity to its business-to-business foods segment.

Ergon Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Millbo–BioNaturals Group

Ergon Capital Partners IV SCSP has closed the acquisition of a majority stake in Millbo, BioNaturals International and BioNaturals Europe (together "Millbo–BioNaturals"), creating a global supplier of natural, clean-label bakery ingredients. The sellers (including Millbo/Boggiani family and other shareholders) will reinvest alongside Ergon, and the investment is intended to accelerate growth through geographic expansion, product cross-selling and a buy-&-build strategy.
