Cengage Group agreed to acquire Infosec, a cybersecurity education and training provider, for $190.8 million. The deal brings Infosec into Cengage’s Workforce Skills business to expand its cybersecurity professional training offerings, increase recurring revenue, and reach more learners and enterprise customers; the transaction was expected to close in Q1 2022 subject to customary conditions.

ACI Learning Acquires Infosec Learning

The transaction — ACI's fourth add-on under Boathouse Capital — expands ACI's hands-on lab catalog and consolidates cybersecurity, audit and IT skills training capabilities.

Leeds Equity Partners Acquires Learnosity

Leeds Equity Partners has acquired Learnosity Holdings Ltd., a Dublin-based provider of digital assessment and AI-enabled authoring solutions for K-12, higher education, corporate L&D, government and certification markets. Terms were not disclosed; Leeds Equity said the acquisition will build on its education software expertise and support Learnosity's next stage of growth.

Crane NXT Acquires OpSec Security from Investcorp for $270M

Crane NXT, Co. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire OpSec Security from Investcorp Technology Partners for $270 million in cash (subject to customary adjustments). The acquisition — which excludes Zacco, retained by Investcorp — expands Crane NXT's physical and digital authentication and brand-protection capabilities; OpSec expects roughly $130 million in revenue for fiscal 2024.

Computer Design & Integration LLC (CDI) has acquired SecOps Partners, a Rochester, New York–based ServiceNow Security Operations and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) services firm. The deal expands CDI's ServiceNow security and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) capabilities and will make SecOps Partners' services immediately available to CDI customers; financial terms were not disclosed.
