Petronas Chemicals Group Acquires Perstorp from PAI Partners

Petronas Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) has agreed to acquire Perstorp Holding AB from PAI Partners for EUR 2.3 billion on a cash- and debt-free basis. Perstorp, a Sweden-based specialty chemicals manufacturer with ~1,500 employees and global manufacturing and R&D sites, will extend PCG's geographic footprint and specialty-chemicals capabilities pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.
