Blackstone Credit & Insurance provided over $1 billion in new financings to support the recapitalization of Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI), joining equity alongside existing sponsors GTCR and Genstar Capital. The financing (part of >$1.8 billion in debt and equity provided by Blackstone-managed funds) is intended to strengthen JSSI's capital structure, enhance operational capabilities, and support continued growth in the business aviation aftermarket.

The acquisition expands Invixium's offering beyond entry-point access control into site-level safety, productivity and asset-tracking solutions for industrial and critical-infrastructure customers; financial terms were not disclosed.

Air T, Inc. Acquires Contrail Aviation Support, Inc.

Air T, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRT) completed an asset purchase of Contrail Aviation Support, Inc., a Verona, Wisconsin-based supplier of surplus and aftermarket commercial jet engine components. The business was acquired by a newly formed Air T subsidiary (New Contrail), with Joseph Kuhn appointed CEO and all Contrail employees retained to continue operations in Verona.
