KKR has completed the acquisition of Ensono from Charlesbank Capital Partners and M/C Partners. Ensono, a hybrid IT and managed services provider headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois with roughly 2,400 employees, will leverage KKR's resources to accelerate growth and expand its hybrid cloud and mainframe modernization offerings.

KKR Acquires Majority Stake in Avantus

KKR, through investment funds and accounts it manages, acquired a majority equity interest in Avantus, a U.S. utility-scale solar and solar-plus-storage developer. With closing, KKR also arranged a $522 million development facility to support Avantus’ growth and accelerate its ~30 GW solar and 94 GWh storage pipeline.

Sixth Street Acquires 49% Stake in Enipower from Eni

Macquarie Asset Management Acquires 50% of Enel Green Power Hellas

Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of co-investors and managed funds, has acquired a 50% stake in Enel Green Power Hellas from Enel Group for approximately €250 million. The deal covers a 566 MW portfolio of onshore wind, solar and hydropower projects in operation or under construction in Greece and establishes a joint venture to accelerate development, storage and hybrid solutions across the company's pipeline.

KKR Acquires Majority Stake in ERM from OMERS Private Equity and AIMCo

KKR has signed an agreement to acquire a majority position in Environmental Resources Management (ERM) from OMERS Private Equity and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), with ERM management and Partners remaining minority investors. The transaction, intended to accelerate ERM's growth and broaden its sustainability capabilities and technologies, is expected to close in Q3 2021 subject to regulatory approvals; financial terms were not disclosed.
