Stratasys Acquires Covestro's Additive Manufacturing Materials Business

Stratasys Ltd. completed the acquisition of Covestro AG's additive manufacturing materials business, including R&D facilities, global development and sales teams, a portfolio of ~60 materials, and an extensive IP portfolio. The deal expands Stratasys' materials offering (Somos and Addigy brands) across stereolithography, DLP, and powder technologies to address new manufacturing applications and end markets such as aerospace, medical and automotive.

ADDMAN Engineering Acquires 3rd Dimension Industrial 3D Printing

ADDMAN Engineering, a metal additive manufacturing platform backed by American Industrial Partners, has acquired 3rd Dimension Industrial Printing of Westfield, Indiana. The deal adds metal additive and CNC capabilities to ADDMAN’s operations, creating a second AM location complementing its Bonita Springs, Florida headquarters and expanding capability for aerospace, racing and consumer goods customers.

Trelleborg Group Acquires Aero-Plastics Inc.

Trelleborg Group, through its Trelleborg Sealing Solutions business area, has signed an agreement to acquire Aero-Plastics Inc., a Renton, Washington-based manufacturer of precision injection-molded and thermoformed high-performance polymer components for the aerospace interiors market. The acquisition — expected to close in Q2 2025 — expands Trelleborg's thermoplastics and interiors capabilities, adds capacity and customer relationships, and is intended to generate sales synergies within its aerospace offering.

3D Systems Acquires Titan Additive LLC (Titan Robotics)

3D Systems announced it will acquire Titan Additive LLC (Titan Robotics), a Colorado-based designer and fabricator of large-format, pellet-based extrusion 3D printers. The acquisition adds Titan's hybrid pellet/filament extrusion and hybrid tool-head technology to 3D Systems' polymer additive manufacturing portfolio to address larger-format industrial applications across aerospace, automotive, foundries and general manufacturing.

ADDMAN Acquires Forecast 3D from GKN Powder Metallurgy

ADDMAN Engineering LLC, a portfolio company of American Industrial Partners, has acquired Forecast 3D, a Carlsbad, California-based polymer additive manufacturing firm formerly operated by GKN Powder Metallurgy. The deal expands ADDMAN's West Coast polymer capacity and digital quoting capabilities, increasing its industrial additive fleet to over 160 systems and advancing its strategy to build a comprehensive North American additive manufacturing platform.

ADDMAN Acquires Dinsmore & Associates
