Jensten Group Acquires Advance Insurance Agencies

Jensten Group has acquired Advance Insurance Agencies, a Wiltshire-based specialist personal and commercial lines broker with offices in Chippenham, Swindon, Westbury and Trowbridge. The deal (terms undisclosed) brings Jensten an additional £16m gross written premium and 82 staff and is intended to expand the group's specialist personal-lines capability and lead-generation expertise while retaining the Advance brand.

Jensten Group Acquires Origin UW Limited

The Jensten Group has completed the acquisition of Origin UW Limited, a boutique UK managing general agent (MGA) specialising in commercial insurance for SME clients. Origin UW will continue to operate as a standalone brand within Jensten's wholesale division with its existing team, including Managing Director Dawn Henderson, remaining in place.

Jensten Group Acquires Tasker Insurance Group

The Jensten Group has acquired Tasker Insurance Group, including Tasker Insurance Brokers, Tasker & Partners and Gresham Underwriting, for an undisclosed sum (subject to regulatory approval). The deal adds approximately £50M gross written premium to Jensten and expands its specialist broking and underwriting capabilities as part of its buy-and-build growth strategy toward a £500M GWP target.

Jensten Group Acquires Darwin Clayton

Jensten Group has acquired specialist schemes broker Darwin Clayton for an undisclosed sum, subject to regulatory approval. The acquisition brings 44 staff, 2,300 clients and over £20M GWP into Jensten and will position Darwin Clayton as the Group’s centre of excellence for schemes and affinity business while CEO Simon Henderson reports to Jensten Retail MD Rob Organ.

Jensten Group Acquires Ravenhall Risk Solutions

The Jensten Group has acquired Leeds-based broker Ravenhall Risk Solutions for an undisclosed sum, subject to FCA approval. The deal brings Ravenhall's £10m GWP into Jensten's portfolio, strengthens the group's presence in Yorkshire as part of its buy-and-build strategy, and sees founder Neil Grimshaw remain to lead growth alongside Jensten's existing regional broker Packetts.

Jensten Group Acquires J. Bennett & Son and Mathews Comfort

Jensten Group has acquired J. Bennett & Son Insurance Brokers (High Wycombe) and its Oxford-based subsidiary Mathews Comfort for an undisclosed sum, subject to regulatory approval. The combined business (heritage firms dating to 1908 and 1851) brings approximately £13m GWP to Jensten and employs a small local team across two offices.
