Integrated Power Services (IPS), a Searchlight Capital-backed provider of motor and generator repair and field services, acquired three Western U.S. electrical apparatus service firms — Industrial Electric Machinery (IEM), Reed Electric & Field Service, and A+ Electric Motor — to establish a leading presence in the western United States. The add-on transactions expand IPS’s service footprint, add seven service/repair facilities and over 100 employees across the region, and strengthen its capabilities in power, industrial and renewables end markets.

IPS, headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, is an industrial aftermarket services provider for motors, generators, pumps and power systems across industrial and renewable energy end-markets; the deal is expected to close later this year subject to customary regulatory approvals.
