The sale is subject to customary anti-trust and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the coming months; Goldman Sachs intends to accelerate growth organically and via targeted acquisitions in the UK and overseas, with a focus on sustainability, climate transition and water services.

The Private Equity business at Goldman Sachs Alternatives has agreed to become the majority shareholder in French wealth manager Crystal, alongside Crystal's management team led by Bruno Narchal and Jean-Maximilien Vancayezeele; Seven2 will remain a c.25% shareholder. Crystal, founded in 1992, manages around €22 billion AUM (pro forma for recent acquisitions) and said the investment will support growth in France and internationally, including significant investments in digital and AI. The transaction is subject to regulatory and antitrust approvals.

The Sustainable Investing business of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Cleanhill Partners have acquired a majority stake in EPC Power Corp. through a comprehensive recapitalization to support the company's expansion of U.S. manufacturing capacity and growth into utility-scale renewable energy storage and related markets. EPC Power, a Poway, California-based designer and manufacturer of American-made smart inverters, employs ~180 people and operates additional engineering/sales offices in Helsinki to serve global customers.
