Surround Care, a St. Louis–based population health company, closed the merger acquiring Navvis and Esse Health; both companies will operate as wholly owned subsidiaries of the newly formed parent. The combined organization aims to scale population-health and value-based care capabilities, serving more than 4 million patients across multiple markets and expanding its geographic footprint and clinical offerings.

The Vistria Group Completes Majority Recapitalization of Education Solutions Services (ESS)

The Vistria Group has acquired a majority stake in Education Solutions Services (ESS), a Knoxville-based K-12 staffing and virtual instruction provider; Nautic Partners sold the majority interest but will remain a minority investor. Comvest Credit Partners acted as administrative agent on a senior secured credit facility to support the transaction. ESS serves roughly 900 school districts (over 4 million students) and will use the new partnership to accelerate growth and expand its virtual and managed staffing capabilities.
