Mentha Acquires Majority Stake in Van Vulpen

Dutch private equity firm Mentha has acquired a majority interest in Van Vulpen, a leading Netherlands-based contractor specializing in underground infrastructure networks and horizontal directional drilling. The deal, approved by the Dutch competition authority (ACM), positions Mentha to support Van Vulpen's continued growth, innovation (including electric drilling rigs) and controlled expansion while Management (Arjan de Nijs) remains a co-shareholder and active leader.

Apax Partners Acquires Destiny from Mentha

Paris-based private equity firm Apax Partners has agreed to acquire 100% of Destiny from Mentha, with Destiny's management making a substantial reinvestment. Destiny is a Belgian secure cloud communications provider (VoIP, UCaaS, mobile and data networks) with ~220 employees in Belgium and the Netherlands; Apax says it will support the company's international expansion and continued acquisition strategy.

NPM Capital Acquires Stake in Agro Care

Dutch private equity investor NPM Capital has agreed to acquire a stake in Agro Care, a Maasdijk-based greenhouse tomato grower, through a growth capital investment. The funding will support Agro Care’s investments in technologically advanced greenhouses and future acquisitions across the Netherlands, France, Morocco and Tunisia; financial terms were not disclosed.

LifeWorks Acquires Netherlands-Based Mental Health Provider Ascender
