GI Partners, Insurity's existing investor, remains committed and will continue supporting the company as it seeks to accelerate product development, cloud deployments, and market expansion; Insurity has ~1,500 employees and more than 250 cloud-based customers.

GI Partners will partner with Insurity's senior management to accelerate growth, expand product capabilities, and pursue add-on acquisitions to drive organic and inorganic expansion.

Insurity Acquires Epic-Premier Insurance Solutions

Insurity, a Hartford-based provider of cloud-based core system solutions and data analytics for insurers, completed the acquisition of Florida-based Epic-Premier Insurance Solutions on June 22, 2020. The deal adds Epic-Premier’s ConceptOne policy administration capabilities to Insurity’s platform to strengthen its position and product offering in the managing general agent (MGA) market; terms were not disclosed.

Insurity Acquires Instec

Insurity, a Hartford-based provider of cloud-based software for P&C carriers and a portfolio company of GI Partners, completed the acquisition of Instec on April 14, 2021. The purchase brings Instec’s SaaS policy administration capabilities into Insurity’s platform to deepen ISO bureau content support, accelerate program business onboarding, and broaden offerings for mid-size P&C carriers and MGAs.

Acrisure Acquires Volante Global

Acrisure has acquired Volante Global, a London-headquartered, multi-class international Managing General Agent (MGA) that includes brands such as Aesir Space and Horizon Europe AG. The deal (terms not disclosed) brings Volante's specialty underwriting capabilities, Lloyd’s syndicate alignment and international presence into Acrisure’s growing MGA strategy; prior majority investor was Nephila Holdings Ltd. (a subsidiary of Markel Corporation).

Insurity Acquires Maprisk

Insurity has completed the acquisition of Maprisk, a Portland, Maine-based provider of geospatial data and analytics for property & casualty (P&C) carriers and MGAs. The deal expands Insurity's cloud-based geospatial analytic capabilities into the personal lines market and integrates Maprisk's API and web-platform data delivery across Insurity's policy lifecycle solutions.
