Stax Payments has acquired Atlantic-Pacific Processing Systems (APPS) to integrate APPS’s processing capabilities into a unified, end-to-end payments platform branded as Stax Processing. APPS leadership (including CEO Abe Maghaguian and COO Sarah Gerald) and nearly 50 APPS team members will join Stax as the companies complete integration through 2024 to expand Stax’s processing, data reporting, and multi-channel capabilities.

Atlantic-Pacific Processing Systems NV, Corp. (APPS) completed the acquisition of cloud-based SaaS payments company Paynomix, LLC, making Paynomix a wholly owned subsidiary. Paynomix founder Brent Gephart will join APPS as chief information officer and Paynomix's payment facilitation technology and integrations will be integrated into APPS' payments platform to expand capabilities and accelerate growth.

DocuPhase Acquires iPayables

DocuPhase, a Tampa-based provider of document management and accounting automation and a portfolio company of LoneTree Capital, has acquired iPayables, an enterprise-focused accounts payable (AP) automation solution based in Utah. The acquisition expands DocuPhase's AP and payment automation capabilities, creates cross-sell opportunities into enterprise finance teams, and positions the combined offering as an end-to-end solution for the office of the CFO.

VeriCheck Acquires Applied Payment Systems (ACHWorks)
