The Pennant Group Acquires Assets of Signature Healthcare at Home

The Pennant Group, Inc. agreed to purchase the assets of certain affiliates of Signature Healthcare at Home for a combined purchase price of $80.0 million, adding Signature's home health and hospice locations across Oregon, Washington and Idaho to Pennant's Pacific Northwest footprint. The transaction closed in two phases (Washington and Idaho assets closed Aug. 1, 2024; Oregon assets closed later), transferring an organization of over 650 staff and approximately $78 million in annual revenue into Pennant's network.

The Ensign Group acquired the operations of River Park Post Acute and Elmwood Senior Living, a healthcare campus in Chandler, Arizona, including 66 skilled nursing beds, 45 assisted living units and 119 independent living units. The real estate was purchased by a subsidiary of Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, Inc. (Ensign’s captive real estate company), and the campus will be operated by an Ensign affiliate (Bandera Healthcare LLC).
