GrowGeneration Corp. acquired The Harvest Company, a Northern California hydroponic supply center with stores in Redding and Trinity County, to expand its footprint in the Emerald Triangle cannabis market. The Harvest Company's 16 employees joined GrowGeneration and founder Robert Masterson will remain in an advisory role.

GrowGeneration Corp. Acquires HGS Hydro

GrowGeneration Corp. signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire HGS Hydro, the third-largest chain of hydroponic garden centers in the U.S., adding six existing Michigan stores (with a seventh opening soon). The acquisition will increase GrowGeneration's Michigan footprint and bring its total store count to 65, and is expected to close before GrowGeneration's fiscal year-end 2021.

Hydrofarm Acquires House & Garden

Hydrofarm Holdings Group, Inc. agreed to acquire House & Garden, Inc. and affiliated entities for approximately $125 million, funded with existing cash, with the acquired businesses becoming wholly owned indirect subsidiaries. The acquisition expands Hydrofarm's branded nutrients portfolio (including the House & Garden and Mad Farmer brands), with House & Garden expected to generate about $55 million in 2021 net sales and the deal valuing the business at under 7x estimated 2021 adjusted EBITDA.

GrowGeneration Acquires Hoagtech Hydroponics

GrowGeneration Corp. announced the acquisition of Hoagtech Hydroponics, a hydroponic equipment and indoor gardening store in Bellingham, Washington. The deal expands GrowGeneration's Pacific Northwest footprint, adds a 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse and a commercial customer base, and brings Hoagtech founder Dan Hoag and his team of eight cultivation experts into GrowGen.

GrowGeneration Corp. Acquires Healthy Harvest (Florida)

GrowGeneration Corp. purchased the assets of Florida-based Healthy Harvest, adding approximately $12.0 million in annual revenue and a 15,000+ sq. ft. warehouse/retail location. The Healthy Harvest owners will remain with the business as Director of Southeast Region and Director of Latin American Markets, extending GrowGeneration's footprint into Florida, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and South America.

Surfside Solutions Acquires Good Harvest Co (Garden State Digital)

Surfside Solutions Inc. has acquired the software, technology and intellectual property for the Good Harvest Co audience platform from Garden State Digital, LLC, expanding Surfside's shopper marketing and cannabis audience capabilities. As part of the asset purchase, Good Harvest founder Eric Meth will join Surfside as Chief Strategy Officer to help integrate and grow the cannabis-focused audience solutions.
