Garden Trends Inc, parent company of Harris Seeds, has acquired HopsHarvester, a small manufacturer of hop-harvesting machinery and commercial dryers. The acquisition brings the Hopster Harvester and related products into Garden Trends' family of brands to expand its capabilities and better support commercial and hobby growers.

Hydrofarm Holdings Group, Inc. agreed to acquire House & Garden, Inc. and affiliated entities for approximately $125 million, funded with existing cash, with the acquired businesses becoming wholly owned indirect subsidiaries. The acquisition expands Hydrofarm's branded nutrients portfolio (including the House & Garden and Mad Farmer brands), with House & Garden expected to generate about $55 million in 2021 net sales and the deal valuing the business at under 7x estimated 2021 adjusted EBITDA.
