MiddleGround Capital Acquires Alco Manufacturing Corporation

MiddleGround Capital announced its formation and closed its first transaction with the acquisition of Alco Manufacturing Corporation, a precision manufacturer of hydraulic connectors and fittings. MiddleGround said it will apply its lean manufacturing and operational expertise to drive efficiency and support Alco's long-term growth across its Midwest facilities.

Blue Point Capital Partners sold its interest in Alco Manufacturing Corporation, LLC to MiddleGround Capital; terms were not disclosed. Alco, headquartered in Elyria, Ohio, is a precision turned metal components and fittings manufacturer serving OEM end markets (agriculture, construction, industrial and energy), and under Blue Point it expanded operations, completed add-ons and doubled earnings.

Alco Acquires Manth-Brownell

Alco Manufacturing Corporation, a portfolio company of MiddleGround Capital, has acquired Manth-Brownell, a 60-year-old precision machine parts manufacturer based in Kirkville, New York. The add-on expands Alco's machining capabilities (adding over 100 multi-spindle screw machines and 50 CNC machines), broadens its customer base across aerospace, fluid power and industrial end markets, and strengthens scale and purchasing power.

MiddleGround Capital Acquires Megatech from Alfar Capital
