Brown & Root Industrial Services, a joint venture owned by One Equity Partners and KBR, has acquired Specialty Welding and Turnarounds (SWAT) from ORIX Capital Partners; Hastings Equity Partners sold its minority stake as part of the transaction. The deal expands Brown & Root’s industrial services capabilities in specialty welding and turnaround work across refining, petrochemical and biodiesel clients and builds scale for the Brown & Root platform.

BRP Group Acquires Construction Risk Partners

BRP Group, via its subsidiary Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners (BKS Partners), has entered into an agreement to acquire all outstanding equity interests of Construction Risk Partners (CRP), a specialty construction insurance brokerage headquartered in Branchburg, New Jersey. The deal adds about $32.6 million of annual revenue and roughly 85 employees, strengthening BRP's national construction risk management platform and expanding its construction-focused capabilities and market presence.

Westbridge Capital Acquires Berg Industrial Service, Inc.

Brown & Brown, Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire Global Risk Partners Limited (GRP) from funds advised by Searchlight Capital Partners; the transaction is expected to close in Q3 2022 subject to regulatory approvals, including the UK Financial Conduct Authority. GRP is a London-headquartered independent insurance intermediary with roughly 2,100 employees, operations across 110+ locations in the UK and Ireland, and annual revenue of approximately $340 million.
