ICL Acquires Compass Minerals' South America Plant Nutrition Business (Produquímica)

ICL Group Ltd. has completed the acquisition of Compass Minerals América do Sul S.A. (the South American plant nutrition business, historically known as Produquímica) for approximately US$420–432 million. The transaction (cash of ~US$325M plus assumption of ~US$107M net debt, with up to ~R$88M earn-out possible) expands ICL's specialty plant nutrition footprint in Brazil, adding eight production sites, a large commercial coverage and direct-to-farm sales.
