Tsunami Express Car Wash has closed the acquisition of 53 Take 5 Car Wash locations from Whistle Express Car Wash, expanding Tsunami’s operations to 74 locations across nine states and tripling its Midwest footprint. The acquired sites will be rebranded and upgraded to Tsunami’s CleanTech experience; Tsunami is backed by an affiliate of Point72 Private Investments and Whistle Express served as the seller in the divestiture.

Mammoth Holdings Acquires Coastal Carwash

Super Star Car Wash, a TSG Consumer Partners–backed car wash operator headquartered in Phoenix, has acquired Wave Wash, an eight-location express conveyor car wash operator in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The acquisition expands Super Star's presence in the DFW market to 17 locations and adds Wave Wash's team, facilities and development pipeline; financial terms were not disclosed.

Mammoth Holdings, an Atlanta-based express conveyor car wash operator, has acquired Wash Time Express, Inc., a single-unit express conveyor car wash in Austell, Georgia. The seller and founder Richard Bailey, Jr. reinvested a significant portion of proceeds into Mammoth and will join the company as an operations consultant and shareholder; Mammoth's platform is backed by Red Dog Equity with additional partnership from The Pritzker Organization.
