Ark Naturals will continue to operate under its brand with Michael Stoeckle remaining CEO; the deal was an add-on to Antelope's portfolio (Antelope is Alpine's pet platform) and Azalea Capital was the seller.

The investment will support Doggo's direct-to-consumer strategy — including marketing, branding and subscriber growth — while Doggo will continue operating under its brand and Patty Li will join Antelope's board.

Post Holdings Acquires Perfection Pet Foods for $235M

Post Holdings agreed to acquire the assets of Perfection Pet Foods, LLC for $235 million. The deal includes two manufacturing facilities in Visalia, California, and is expected to add roughly $25 million of Adjusted EBITDA over the first 12 months while enabling Post to insource capacity and enter the private-label and co-manufacturing pet food category.

Destination Pet Acquires Exceptional Pets

Destination Pet has completed the acquisition of Exceptional Pets, a five-location pet care operator in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area founded in 2019 by Exceptional Healthcare. The deal expands Destination Pet's footprint into the Phoenix market and adds specialty retail, grooming, boarding and other pet services to its integrated veterinary and pet-care platform.
