Foundation Investment Partners Acquires Weiss Instruments LLC

Foundation Investment Partners (FIP) finalized an agreement to purchase Holtsville, New York-based Weiss Instruments, LLC. FIP will combine Weiss's manufacturing operations with fellow portfolio company Miljoco Instrument Corp. at Miljoco's 50,000-square-foot facility in Mt. Clemens, Michigan while keeping the Weiss and Miljoco brands and distribution networks separate to preserve market presence.

Fiserv Acquires Pinch Payments

Fiserv has acquired Pinch Payments, an Australian payment facilitator and PayFac enablement platform, to strengthen its payment orchestration and PayFac capabilities in the APAC region. Pinch, founded in 2017 and serving roughly 2,000 merchants across Australia and New Zealand, will be integrated into Fiserv’s ecosystem to accelerate go-to-market and expand local merchant solutions including cloud-based offerings like Clover.

Finning Acquires Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics (UK) for ~£65M

Finning International Inc. has acquired Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics Ltd. and Hoses Direct Ltd. (together, Hydraquip), the UK’s second-largest hydraulic hose replacement and repair company, for approximately £65 million. The acquisition expands Finning's product support and mobile-service capabilities across multiple end markets and is expected to be immediately accretive to its UK & Ireland operations.

Lindsay Corporation Acquires 49.9% Minority Stake in Pessl Instruments

Lindsay Corporation completed the acquisition of a 49.9% minority interest in Austria-based Pessl Instruments (METOS/FieldClimate), forming a closer strategic partnership to integrate Pessl's sensor hardware and FieldClimate software with Lindsay's FieldNET irrigation management platforms. The minority investment is intended to accelerate AgTech innovation, enable integrated data-driven agronomic solutions, and support future AI-based product development; Lindsay retains an option to acquire the remainder of Pessl at a later date.
