The deals expand MCE's geographic footprint, broaden its automation and fluid-processing product and service offerings, and represent add-on acquisitions to the MCE platform backed by Frontenac.

Instrument Associates will continue operating under its name with its 22 employees; MCE said the acquisition broadens its fluid power, flow control and instrumentation capabilities to better serve industrial customers in Illinois and Indiana.

DAS — which employs 42 people across four locations in Ohio and western Pennsylvania — will operate as a division of MCE under the Diversified Air Systems name, expanding MCE's fluid power and aftermarket service capabilities.
