MRI Software Acquires Multifamily Insurance Partners

MRI Software has acquired Multifamily Insurance Partners, a Ohio-based provider of resident renters insurance programs and insurance compliance solutions for the U.S. multifamily rental market. The deal integrates Multifamily Insurance Partners' resident insurance capabilities into MRI’s MRI Living residential suite to streamline leasing/onboarding and help property owners close insurance gaps and reduce uninsured losses.

The acquisition adds ProLease's installed base of more than 700 clients and several integrated modules—real estate, equipment, lease accounting, workplace, maintenance and project—supporting MRI's growth across geographic markets and compliance with new global lease accounting standards.

MRI Software Acquires RentPayment Business from Priority Technology Holdings

Priority will continue to provide payment infrastructure and processing to the MRI platform; the deal brings a payments platform serving ~2,900 real-estate clients into MRI to scale and expand its global payments capability for residential, affordable and public housing markets.

MRI Software Acquires Manhattan Real Estate and Workplace Solutions from Trimble

The deal expands MRI's occupier and workplace-management capabilities, strengthening its IWMS and lease accounting offerings to better serve commercial property owners, operators and corporate occupiers globally; the transaction was expected to close in the first half of 2021 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
