Landwehr Construction, Inc., a fifth-generation, family-owned construction and crane services firm headquartered in St. Cloud, Minnesota, has acquired Jerke Construction, a Sioux Falls–based crane and rigging services provider. Jerke will operate as a division of Landwehr, expanding Landwehr’s crane services footprint and strengthening its ability to serve construction and wind-energy projects across the Midwest.

The deal, funded partly by increased debt capacity and including upfront cash (~$33.6m) plus up-to-5% royalties over five years, positions Codan to expand its tactical communications capabilities and accelerate entry into the US military market.
