Fortified Health Security, a healthcare-focused managed security service provider (MSSP) based in Brentwood, Tennessee, has acquired Latitude Information Security, a healthcare-focused cybersecurity advisory firm known for HITRUST CSF, risk assessments and third‑party risk management. The acquisition brings Latitude under the Fortified brand, expands Fortified’s advisory and HITRUST capabilities, and adds a Philadelphia presence; Latitude’s CEO Mark Ferrari will lead a new Risk and Governance Services division within Fortified.

Kinaxis Acquires MPO

Kinaxis Inc. acquired MPO, a European-headquartered provider of a cloud-based SaaS platform for multi-party orchestration of orders, inventory and transportation, in a deal that closed August 15, 2022 for approximately $45 million (about 75% cash, 25% equity). The acquisition adds multi‑enterprise visibility, order management and transportation management to Kinaxis’ RapidResponse planning platform to deliver end-to-end concurrent planning through execution.

AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP) Consortium Acquires Aligned Data Centers in ~$40B Deal

The Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Partnership (AIP), together with MGX and BlackRock’s Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), will acquire 100% of Aligned Data Centers from private infrastructure funds managed by Macquarie Asset Management and co-invest partners. The consortium expects the transaction to fuel expansion of next-generation cloud and AI infrastructure, implying an enterprise value of approximately $40 billion, with closing expected in the first half of 2026 subject to approvals.
