Momentive Software, a cloud-based software provider for mission-driven organizations, has acquired Cobalt, a provider of association and certification management software built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. The deal expands Momentive’s association management system (AMS) and certification capabilities to better serve nonprofits, associations and credentialing organizations; terms were not disclosed.

Momentive Technologies Acquires Spherical Alumina and Silica Businesses from Sibelco (South Korea)

Momentive Technologies has completed the acquisition of Sibelco’s spherical alumina and spherical silica businesses in South Korea. The deal expands Momentive’s ceramic powder portfolio and strengthens its thermal filler capabilities for thermal interface materials used across electric vehicles, AI, renewable energy, consumer electronics and telecommunications markets.

KCC Corporation to Fully Acquire Momentive Performance Materials Group

KCC Corporation, the Seoul-based chemicals manufacturer, has entered into an agreement to fully acquire Momentive Performance Materials Group, consolidating ownership and resulting in the exit of minority shareholder SJL Partners LLC. The transaction, which remains subject to customary closing conditions, brings Momentive (a global silicones and specialty materials manufacturer headquartered in Niskayuna, New York) under 100% KCC ownership to support expanded collaboration and capability growth.

Saint-Gobain Ceramics Acquires Monofrax

Bourns, Inc. has acquired certain assets and the ongoing operations of Transtek Magnetics, Inc., a Tucson-headquartered maker of custom transformers, inductors and coils with manufacturing in Dongguan, China. The acquisition expands Bourns' product offering into high-frequency and high-power magnetic components for end markets including automotive, solar power and consumer electronics.
